In case you don't know this story . . .on February 2nd, someone cut a hole in the wire mesh that held Flaco captive at the Central Park Zoo. He now lives nearby in Central Park, free as a . . . well, bird!
I had a recording session on Sunday up at Mark Dann's in Woodstock, and we did a song swap afterwards, where "Blackbird" was one of the songs sung -- it gave me an idea, so I asked Brian Bauers, my producer, if he would record it. He did! Here's the result - Enjoy!
