My "Firefly" song written up in Discover Magazine blog
Hi gang -- hope your summer is going well! Remember the lyrics I sent around on July 4th -- the firefly song? I sent them to Carl Zimmer, who wrote the article in the NY Times that inspired the song -- and he has written about the song on his blog: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/loom/
It's posting #2, but scroll down and check out the photo of the stingray tattoo! Interesting stuff!
The song is going to be track #2 on the CD I am working on for release this fall. For the next two days it is on my home page https://christinelavin.com -- all the way down to the bottom right hand corner. You can download it now, but on Wednesday it will disappear. Like fireflies when their two weeks of partying are done.
Ciao!
Chris
