Just when we think we're out . . . they pull us back in. Joe's Pub wants a dose of the APRIL FOOLS to show that it's never too late to make an April fool of yourself -- even in May. May 8th to be exact.
From 6:30 - 8:00 PM we are at JOE'S PUB. It's a freewheeling show where we share the stage doing our most outrageous songs, with a few heartbreakers thrown in. Why? Because we can. There's a famous chef overseeing the meals served (Andrew Carmellini) and with a name like that, you know the desserts must be good, too.
Please join us -- doors are at 6. Tickets are $25 -- a bargain to see all three of us in one night. And yes, those quotes about us are real. You'll have to trust me on mine. I'll never forget it. I was opening for Buskin & Batteau at THE BOTTOM LINE, Paul was in the audience and he sent word backstage that he wanted to meet me. I came out to see if this was some kind of joke -- but there he was -- Paul Newman! And not only did he say what he said, he kissed me on both cheeks, like they do in Europe. Sigh.
