Free -- a digital copy of 130 pages of liner notes at christinelavin.com -- but I printed up 50 copies if you are old-school, and want a physical copy
Here's hoping you had a wonderful Thanksgiving -- I am preparing for a show in Newtown, CT this Saturday night, but also being the chief cook and bottle-washer here I just wanted to remind you that a free digital copy of the 130 page liner notes for "The Best Of CL" is available right here: https://christinelavin.com/about/linernotes/c/4337 - click on the PDF and it goes right into your computer, and there are lots of live links in it.
It also has all the lyrics, all the stories about the songs, plus updates on all the musicians who played on the songs over the years (like Lorenza Ponce who plays violin at the end of the "Difficult Man" album, has toured extensively with Jon Bon Jovi -- yes, he of the "strategically tousled hair"). I spent hours putting it together, and forgot what a good read it all is -- when I stumbled upon it (looking for something else, of course), it brought me back. If you have this album, I know you'll find it useful -- even if you don't have the album, you'll find it fun to read, and there's no paywall, so feel free to download it.
I have also printed up 50 copies of the liner notes -- it's the exact same thing in large print, 4/C, on slick 80 lb. paper -- this version isn't free (it's $30) but I know you might be old-school and want a collectible I will sign (I'm always thinking of The Antiques Road Show -- you could think of this as a fun gift you can give to your great great great grandchildren a hundred years from now).

Ciao!
