90 minutes whittled down to 47 minutes live from Excelsior, Minnesota--London, England--NYC -- password protected --
This Zoom highlights of the After Party -- whittled from 90 minutes to 47 minutes isn't posted publicly.
It's password protected,
and the password is: Zoom
After my solo concert with The Folk Project in New Jersey I hosted a Zoom Party and invited two of my favorite musicians in the world, Megon McDonough and Daniel Cainer (who had never met til Friday night -- and they met while she was in Excelsior, MN and he was in London -- six time zones apart).
Also in the mix is my friend the goldsmith Mary who has a mad crush on Clint Eastwood, and, despite his politics, I want to see Mary happy -- so I've written a song about her crush and we played the video at the Zoom party.
Have fun watching this highlight reel -- re-watching for some of you, or seeing it for the first time. We had 99 people crammed into the party. Please feel free to share it, making sure you share the password, too.
This year Megon McDonough received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Woodstock IL Folk Festival. Daniel Cainer has been one of the most popular mainstays of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the past 13 years. You can visit both of them at their websites, megonmegon.com and danielcainer.com. I think they are two of the best in the world at what they do, and any chance I get I want people to know about them and hear their beautiful music.
Please stay safe -- wear a mask (and I don't mean a gaiter, now that researchers at Duke U. and then the Washington Post let us know that gaiters don't help and can actually make the situation worse), carry hand sanitizer with you at all times.
We can't relax yet. Not yet. But hopefully soon.
Ciao!
Christine
