THESE DAYS – Friction Farm
Unintentionally topical as it was written before the current election season. It was inspired by the book "the Cellist of Sarajevo" by Steven Galloway which fictionally memorializes the true event of the cellist that performed in a Sarajevo village square every day for 21 days in honor of the 21 victims of a marketplace bombing, despite the risk to his life. We wondered how we might respond to such an event. The lyrics are frighteningly appropriate for the current election.
