PAT WHITEMAN is a sought-after vocalist, voice teacher and performance coach in the Los Angeles area. She has performed at New York’s Metropolitan Room and performs regularly in Los Angeles at such clubs as Catalina Jazz Club, Rockwell Table & Stage, Upstairs at Vitello’s, The Federal, and the famed Gardenia Supperclub. She recently collaborated with Grammy-nominated songwriter Harriet Schock (Ain’t No Way to Treat a Lady) on three sold-out shows. She also works with Broadway and celebrity cabaret star Jason Graae who directed her last cabaret show “A Whiteman Sampler” with pianist/composer John Boswell music directing and “The Mood I’m In” with celebrated composer Michele Brourman as musical director. She also appears on award-winning songwriter Christine Lavin’s CD “Christine Lavin and Friends: Live @ McCabe’s. Her passion for communicating and helping others find their own voice has led to a successful voice studio and stint as faculty member in the Entertainment Studies & Performing Arts Division of UCLA Extension. She teaches voice privately and offers regular performance workshops, currently via Zoom, for students of all levels.
