Visit christinelavin.com, buy two albums, and I will throw in two more for free PLUS my COLD PIZZA FOR BREAKFAST book (memoir)

Hi Music Fans! I have moved to Rochester, NY (long story) and I have news! I will be performing with Kenny White (author of "The Other Shore" from the Seasons Poject -- he is also on that collection singing "In Our Hands" with Shawn Colvin). If you haven't seen Kenny, he works A LOT but keeps a very low profile. It's May 3rd (Sunday) at Jonathan's in Ongunquit, Maine at 7 PM. It's my first time sharing the bill with him.
Then I'm with the April Fools (Buskin & Batteau, John Forster, Carla Ulbrich and me) -- we trade off songs on May 20 at Passim in Cambridge at 7 PM, then May 24th at Cotuit Center for the Arts, a show produced by The Harvard Club of Cape Cod (both Robin and John Forster are graduates).
In between those two April Fools shows I have written a special sing-a-long song for the 66th Anniversary of the Caffé Lena that will be played as a video at the Caffé Lena on the evening of the 21st of May. I'm still working on the song and haven't recorded it yet. It's a true story. And will be streamed live on the 21st of May direct from the Caffé stage (and yes, the audience will be singing along). You can sing along on the live stream. Such a modern moment. And AI had nothing to do with it.
But if you want free stuff, go to my webpage, christinelavin.com, click on "store," buy two CDs, and if you do, you'll receive 4 CDs from me (and let me know if there's something you specifically want, or if you want to be surprised by the two freebies -- and if you want them autographed to someone else -- hey, Christmas is coming). You will also receive a FREE digital copy of my book, COLD PIZZA FOR BREAKFAST instantly.
My favorite parts of the book are: The appendix called, "The Top 1,000 Songs I have played on the radio as a guest DJ" -- the second favorite is the list of top songs played by Steve Wozniak when he was a guest DJ visiting the sirius/xm studios. He sat in with Bill Kates and me, (Bill was the producer of the show), and Woz wanted to play over 300 songs. I told him he had to narrow it down to 25 for the radio show, and 27 for the printed "list." The book is sold out, the publisher gave all her authors the rights back to the books after she died, which we are allowed to do whatever we want with.
I have chosen to give my book away for free. It won the 43rd Annual ASCAP Deems Taylor Award, and then sold the first 10,000 copies back in the day, but that's when the publisher died. If you own a copy, save it for The Antiques Road Show (your great great great grand children will get good news).
But here's a way to own a digital copy -- I will send it to you personally. It starts with my being booed offstage the one and only time I opened for Joan Rivers in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Joan was as sweet as she could be . . . but her audience? Hated my guts.
You will get two free CDs and one digital book for free if you buy two CDs. And I can autograph -- and date them -- for Christmas.
Ah . . . show biz memories . . . light the corners of my mind.
Ciao!
Chris
