My brand new song, "Lena Spencer, Rolling Thunder, & The Cape Cod Yellow Pages" will make its debut at this show, and it's a true story! The lineup looks great, it will be all performers telling their unique stories about the early days of Caffé Lena. (I was a bread baker/waitress there in '75-'76.)
I'm on the road now, writing this note to you in my hotel room somewhere in Massachusetts. On Wednesday the 20th I will be part of the "April Fools" at Passim in Cambridge at 7 PM and at 4:30 on Sunday May 24th I will be again with the "April Fools" at the Cotuit Center For The Arts on Cape Cod -- for those of you who like your entertainment live. The Cotuit Arts Center show is being hosted by The Harvard Club of Cape Cod. The other "April Fools" I will be joining are Robin Batteau, David Buskin, Carla Ulbrich, and John Forster. One clever bunch of songwriters, I tell ya!
