Christine says, "I am so happy to announce the record release concert for my brand new album folkZinger (release date September 20th) on Appleseed Records will be at Birdland, 215 West 44th Street, between 8th-9th Avenue in Manhattan, Monday October 31st at 7:30 PM. Special guests include Jim Caruso, The Accidentals, Betsy Franco Feeney, Francesca Amari, Brian Bauers, Julie Garnye, and special special guests (for whom this album is dedicated) Ervin and Edith Drake. Ervin wrote "Good Morning Heartache," "I Believe" and "It Was A Very Good Year" and I bet we can get him to sing those songs for you. Tickets are $25, reservations a must, information at birdlandjazz.com. The food is excellent (I recommend the jambalaya), so I suggest you have dinner during the show, too, and then stay AFTER my show for Jim Caruso's "Cast Party," (no additional cover charge) which starts at 10 and is the most fun. You never know who will show up to perform. And hey, since it's Halloween, feel free to dress for the occasion. I will. Have a happy summer!"
